2020 International Fellowship Program

Daewoong Foundation invites overseas medical doctors from developing countries to enhance their knowledge in surgical methods through an excellent curriculum in South Korea. Upon returning to their home country, medical doctors who have participated in this program gains the ability to contribute to the local medical advancement through practice, education and volunteering activities. We look forward to welcoming you into our Daewoong family
1. Benefits
1) Monthly stipend support
(Within 3 months / About \500,000(per month) / Transfer to your bank account in Korea)
2) Online courses
3) Guidebook on living in Korea
4) Networking Day (Opportunity to socialize with other trainees in Korea)
5) Help in-request (Aassistance when needed during training period)
2. Application Information
1) Qualification (Applicants must meet all the eligibility requirements below)
- Nationality holder of a developing country
- A certified doctor with at least one year of practice in a hospital
- Has proficiency in English or Korean
- Will be attending a training program in a hospital in Korea within three months from application date
- Willing to participate in local volunteering activities when requested
2) Documents
(1) Application Form (Attached)
(2) Certificate of Employment / *If unavailable, Letter of Recommendation (Attached)
(3) A scanned copy of Medical License
(4) A letter of training admission from a Korean hospital
(5) A scanned copy of passport (Must include front page)
※ All submitted documents will not be returned.
※ Should there be any false information, application will be terminated.
※ Evaluation will remain confidential and decisions made are final.
3) How to apply: Submit the required documents by email (glomedi@daewoong.co.kr)
4) Deadline: 2 weeks before the start of training
3. Selection Information
1) Quota of participants: 00
2) Screening process & result announcement: Notification will be sent within 2 weeks after documents submission
※ Successful applicants should submit a scanned copy of bank account when requested
